These armed men in costumes are not here to "protect" you. They are here to protect the State, the State's wars, the State's riches, and the State's consolidation of power.

And we let these people carry guns?

But this problem goes way beyond the police which obviously some people here are ignorant to. Btw, it's not the slums, ghettos and projects that need to be protested. It's the source that controls the continuation of them, which is why there was a protest to begin with. The source being world leaders that put corporate and government greed before the real people who make this world go around. Think about that when you look at how much money was deducted from your pay cheque.

The way I see it is, bottom line, there were people standing there doing NOTHING. It may have been a protest, but protesting is our RIGHT. The people who were forced down and taken away gave absolutely NO reason for the police to do what they did. They did not threaten anyone, were not armed and THEY WERE NOT RIOTING!! How anyone can back the police up based on this simple fact is beyond me. Obviously the police did something wrong because they are in hot water for what happened there.

@jeret001 Obviously you are a troll. I shouldn't have fed you and I needn't waste further time on you.

@Equilibrium131 ..do not make make the mistake of using "you and i" in any referal again thank you...i agree 100% with the police and whatever means deemed nessesary that day that their judgement in the streets percieved. peaceful protest has become an oxymoron..as soon as you assemble of group of people, it is an automatic guarentee that idiots of all ilk show up to riot...why dont you go "peacefull protest violent protesters" ..go occupy the slums n ghetto n projects...brother

@jeret001 "the majority of people werent protesting" *Facepalm* I mean the majority of people that WERE protesting were doing so in a peaceful and democratic manner. "we support the g20" So I guess you, like others, enjoy being the bitches of the corporate fascist state? They are the ones taking our rights, brother, taking money away from the middle/working class. The people that were protesting peacefully, and others like them would like to see people like you and I prosper.

they must have hired or ordered those masked people to start violence and vandilism to have a reason for starting this, its pretty suspicious that a bunched of people dressed in total black started smashing shit for no reason, I beleive it was PLANNED for some kind of drill, why was their so many cops? they were ready for something to happen, when the world goes to shit, stay out of the streets..

@Equilibrium131 majority...the majority of the people wernt protesting...we support the g20 and we support and appreciate the efforts of the police to protect our rights from the minority protesters wrecking peace and property and violating our rights by controlling the streets with intimidation to walk freely...you and your cause is a shit stain smear on the undershorts of society...a shart of history

@jeret001 Your ignorance is laughable. If you knew anything about what happened, then you would know that yes, there were some violent people there (mostly black bloc "anarchists" ignorant that they are stooping to the level of the state) but the majority of protesters were peaceful and non violent. Show some respect for the people who subjected themselves to this to protect the integrity of our rights.
