you have no idea how good i feel right now, my 17 and19 year olds are looking , on their own at bb,buddy, john lee and so many others trying to play it on my 17 yr olds guitar, i never forced anything on them i just showed them the basics of all i know , if they asks i show em , man it felt so good to be 55 and see teenagers lovin the blues, yes lawd

Love the story Buddy Guy told his son one time. His son was chirping about how cool Jimi Hendrix was. And Buddy showed him a book or a magazine article where Jimi listed Buddy Guy as one of his major influences. Buddys son had no idea how great a guitarist his dad was.

this is a musician that Jimi Hendrix looked up to...when they met, Buddy didn't even know who the hell Jimi Hendrix was!
but Jimi canceled either a gig or a jam session so he could go listen to Buddy Guy when he heard he was playing in the same town that night.
and as they say, the rest is history.

Buddy Guy has been a troubador of the blues, for years. He is a great guitarist and vocalist. Here he plays an acoustic set. It has a folk and urban blues feel. Muddy Waters would be pleased of Buddy's version.
