i love this song, it puts a feeling of fire in my veins and sparks a feeling of complete independence without an ounce of nationalist rhetoric. I feel like a hypocrite as i usually hate people who say "my band is simply the best because of this this and this" but that is actually how i feel about radiohead and without shame. I am pompous, I am proud, I feel good, thank you radiohead, i owe you uncommon gratification.

@ernathefat you must have a lot of time on your hands..

@aijunk2 there's no black and white definitions, especially not with radiohead. the end.

thom yorke and the rest of radiohead are completely takentless. I listen to these songs trying to see the goodness but just can't.

Why so hostile? It's pretty easy to identify a genre when you have experience in it. A classic rock fan may not know what "alternative hip hop" is because he/she does not have experience listening in that area; therefore, they are not experts in that area. It's not that hard to distinguish Art Rock, Experimental Rock and Alternative Rock, with the proper experience. It's hard to explain in words, but it's easy to recognize with sound.

This is cliched, but will you guys just shut the fuck up and enjoy the music? Of all the things you could argue about, you argue on sub genres!?
-
@aijunk2 You are obviously the kind of person who thinks they know it all and need to exert (what they think is) their superior intelligence on others. You know what they call that? Pretentious. As if there was any factual method of precisely pinpointing the exact genre specifications between alternative, experimental, and art rock that would move you to correct someone else's perfectly reasonable comment...Any more opinions you would like to disprove with another opinion?

What a great argument. Keep up the intelligent thoughts! Amaze me again, please!
goodness gracious. i love this song.
you know that feeling you get when you go underwater in a pool? that split second before you go under all the chaos around you, be it….other kids or people in the pool move and swim around so fast. then you go underwater and it’s a complete different world. you see a slow motion world. i get the same feeling from listening to Radiohead.

I love how diverse Radiohead can be...just look at In Rainbows alone
You have an incredible epic ballad like "Reckoner"
You have anxious alt.rock like "Jigsaw Falling Into Place"
And you have a fast-paced rocker like this.
What a band
