@Proxyy7 i agree that phaneuf didint have the greatest season but he was under a hell of a lot pressure....toronto with its media is a brutal place to play....soo hopefully he can return to norris candidate years were he dominant both physically and offensively...

What's your point there? Babchuk, who we got as a further result of the Phaneuf trade, had as many goals, three less assists, and was up 20 +/- on Phanuef in one less game. Kostopolous is working excellent with the line he is on, and on top of that, we still have Hagman, who can provide some decent trade-fodder, and Stajan, who may or may not have a bounceback season. I wish we didn't trade Phaneuf to the leafs though, I'm sure we could have got more in return for him.

Seems like he's doing a bit better than Phaneuf... Regardless, as a result of shipping off some players you gave us, we ended up getting Babchuck, Kostopoulos, and to a lesser extent, Hagman, and to an even lesser extent, Stajan.
