Ai Otsuka Kingyo Hanabi LIVE

a very beautiful touching song from Ms. Ai Otsuka ^^

everytime i listen to this song, and especially seeing this LIVE version (taken from her "I Am Best" LIVE concert),
I just felt this sudden intense feeling,..as a feeling of being 'connected' with the planet Earth, the stars, and the Universe! yes, it's how magical the song is to me! :)

although I also like many of her songs,
I've always been so fond more of her slower songs, because her slower songs are just soo tranquil, sweet, beautiful, and somehow has this 'magical' quality that i'd say even rarely be found in most other j-pop songs/artists.
Ai-chan has become one artist that really influences my music compositions ^^
and I'm thankful to have heard, and known about her (not in real-life, yea i wish.. :D ) and her music!

I really like the way you describe about Ai-Chan's music. I've always been a huge fan of hers and has been listening to her songs for the past 5 or so years. She still remains my no.1 favourite artist. I love her to death lol, and yes she is truly inspiring and magical.

you should've listened to her ballads,

they all have similar sounds,

really, IMO they're just "different" from hundreds jpop songs out there.

just search "Ai Otsuka - Renai Shashin" for example, or 'Daisuki da yo" is also very good!
