From the year 2000 comes this excellent tune. Amel Larrieux - SWEET MISERY.

This is the remix of the original track, which itself is great, but this more up tempo version really does the track justice. The remix uses the classic 90's sound, and also a sample from the Mary Jane Girls.

Amel was the lead vocalist in GROOVE THEORY who had much success in the mid 90's with the album "GROOVE THEORY" (1995) featuring the massive smash "Tell me", "Come Home" and "Baby luv". The remix of "Baby luv" is in my OLD SKOOL SOUL PLAYLIST.

Thanx so much. Ive been looking for this version of the song for ages. I always liked the use of the Mary Jane girls sample. Amel is 1 of my female favourite vocalists ever. Her voice is so distinctive - delicate and pretty yet strong and a good range too.

Yea man it's a shame, but it does happen. It's the only way to try to stop it. Other user's ive taked to have had the same problem too, and some now upload at a low bitrate to try to stop it, thus reducing the quality of the upload. I upload in stereo, but have to use the radio drops. And again, the channel promotes myself and the radio station i work for. We are a community pirate station, so promoting the station, and the music/artist's we rep, is really important. Thanks for understanding!

Thanks for the comment. The radio drops are there for a few reasons really. First - this channel is to advertise the radio station Buzz fm and second - people have been stealing the tunes from my channel. Im all for sharing tunes with people, but all tunes on my channel are bought and payed for. Ive taken the time to source the tunes in the first place so i expect people to do the same. The artist's should get the royalties otherwise there would be no music industry. That's why they are there.
