dissecting scalp cellulitis

Dissecting Scalp Cellulitis - This is the condition that my dermatologist has told me I have. This started as three small bumps while watching a food ball game I noticed them, never thought anything of them till they never went away and started getting bigger, Eventually having surgery in march of 2010, Its been almost two years and has not gone away, Started laser treatment for hair removal on Aug. 9th. Going again on Oct. 18th.

When you squeeze the puss out and then touch other areas of your head with the puss still on your fingers aren't you just spreading it to other areas of you scalp and reinfecting other areas that are alomst healed up. ?. Just wondering.

I have the same problem for years. Now I am using a home remedy and its working perfectly for me. give it a try. 1. I pour a little bit of detol on my scalp and leave it on for 10 min then cleaned with water. 2.I dry my scalp and clean the sore area with apple cider vinegar. 3 I moisturize my whole scalp with olive oil. I do this and it works for me but Try it on your own risk. Good luck!!

sorrry for the pain u have to endore, best wishes on clearing this up!!! but my husband gets boils on his inner thighs, there is this drying stuff that dries out boils and stuff, but i forgot the same, maybe ask the pharm...

allergy that is infected. providone idodine, use surgery grade soap to wash the area, leave it on for 5 min, take 2 alieve in the am and pm for pain n inflamation, use some kind of ointment to prevent staph from getting in.. pop some providone iodine on liberally, wrap w light guaze to prevent staining pillows, done.
