@skipperooney ok...the body from which eyeballs "see" into apparent "reality" and registering on consciousness. The point is that THE body (whatever it is) moves, you do not. Because of this, nothing happens.
@superjujujuice How am I not my body? How can I prove what I really am, and am not? Is the "I" mere definition of what we FEEL the "I" is? Am I even real? Am I connected or disconnected from everything else? Wherever you're getting your information that you think is the truth, is actually just an excuse to feel enlightened by filling the void with something that can't even be proven.
@exactspace your body is moving but you are not your body. When you turn around you remain still and the world revolves...his point is that he wants you pay attention to that which you really are...not what you think you are. If you are interested in this I might recommend 'Three Pillars of Zen' and the works of Nisagardatta and Ramana Maharshi. Nisagardatta said "Liberation is not OF someone it is FROM someone' ...the someone is your body, the one that is "liberated" from someone is YOU...
Basically this guy is really out to lunch, and a lot of people give into what he is talking about, just because he is realizing another perspective and he can describe things whimsically, but it's not more correct than than a body moving.
In other words, relative to yourself, you are STILL while driving in the car. Relative to passing a sign on the road, you are MOVING.
@superjujujuice but if you think about it in terms of relativity, you can only say something is moving relative to something else. It's not one or the other, it's either, depending on what your reference is.
@superjujujuice Thank you for your insights. Very helpful.

@superjujujuice
You have no body....ask the quantum physicists....bodies are empty, infinite space. YOU are pure, conscious awareness....

Wow. What an unbelievably anthropocentric view of life you have.

@exactspace how can you prove anything if all is in a state of flux. Your body is changing
constantly but there is a part of you that does not change AND it is inmeasureable. That is
what you are...you can stay in that 'space' and operate from there...see what happens!
