In 2004, the poets Jerome Rothenberg and Cecilia Vicuña set out on a poetic journey to South America. They performed and met wiyh poets in four countries: Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Cecilia called the journey Sudamerisa. In this video they visit the poet Nicanor Parra, in his house at Las Cruces, in the coast of Chile. Also present are Cecilia's parents Jorge and Norma Vicuña, Diane Rothenberg, Peter Kroeger Claussen, José de Nordenflyct, Ariane Braillard & Francis Cincotta. Filmed by Ignacio Poblete, October 2004.
