  • DBS center made an adjustment in my settings yesterday and I feel better

and am driving again but I gained too much weight of over 50 pounds in the past

several months and they recommend my trying to lose weight so I will feel better.

  • @NICENAD Glad to hear things are getting better!

  • I have had DBS surgery and I know it has helped many and has a good reputation but I am of of the few exceptons who has not benefited from it very much. I was not able to drive at all before the surgery but afterwards I could drive limited for a few months after the surgery but am not able to drive any more I fear for the rest of my life and I am only 59. The symptons of Parkinson disease continue very real for me even after surgery. The rest of you should benefit from it though except me

  • @NICENAD That's too bad things haven't worked out as you hoped. Can your neurosurgeon make any adjustments? You're right that most people who have it will benefit. Thanks for the comment and good luck in the future.
