LYRICS:

Lyrics:
How deep the Father's love for us,
How vast beyond all measure
That He should give His only Son
And make a wretch His treasure

How great the pain of searing loss,
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the Chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory

Behold the Man upon the cross,
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed I hear my mocking voice,
Call out among the scoffers

It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished.

I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no power, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection

Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom
(REPEAT)

  • @thehorsegirl93 yes, if you give your heart to Him

  • "I will not boast in anything. No gifts. No power. No wisdom. But I will boast in Jesus Christ, his death and ressurection." This is especially important to remember during Christmas. It's not about the gifts, but about the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ and what he was sent here to do. Merry Christmas to all!

  • He is the only God in the world... i <3 you so much.

  • @faithnjesus1 I think a loving heavenly father would take everyone to heaven. I think a loving Christ would claim all of humanity as his prize. I think the orthodox doctrine of hell where 90 % of the human race goes to eternal concentration camp is obscene & simply not reality, & cannot be part of a God worthy of worship. The doctrine of hell is like slavery: It needs to be discarded. You think that a good God would damn people for thinking the Bible is fiction?try Robert Price
