Are you happy?
If ignorance is bliss why aren't there more happy people in the world.
15 second attention span?
You may be one of those that is content
But
You can't help but notice that there is something very wrong going on in your town, your country and the world in general.
Governments with huge resources, individuals with more money than they can spend in a lifetime and yet injustice on a massive scale goes on daily around the planet.
Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have started a ball rolling but is it enough?
Will it be effective? Does it actually do what it says it does.
Issues that matter are avoided on mainstream media. Have you noticed that?
You Tubes featured lists for example only ever seem to feature subject matter that is generally light and frivolous. No brain food there. Entertainment is good and great but such an important tool does not provide information as well as it could.
You have to dig a little bit deeper but I guess that is the way of things.
(no offence intended for those who made videos that are featured)
It would be nice to see a healthy mix of things that make you question yourself or what goes on in the world. I can only take mindless entertainment for so long.
I need brain food.
You are the problem if you continue to do nothing.
If all you do is watch your mindless entertainment and go to work day in day out then you are part of the problem. You are great for government but a danger to yourself and others.
Angry? You should be. You are the one slaving away, feeding the machine/system that is slowly making you poorer and enslaving you further.
Funding a system that could ultimately end up imprisoning you.
Funding a system that makes you unhappy and ultimately depressed.
Invest in yourself rather than that pension you may or may not get at the end of a life of toil.
I personally am meeting far to many honest pensioners who are getting completely screwed by 'the system'
Keep yourself informed. Don't let media just feed you information go look for it!
Treat people around you with respect. Become better communicators. Search inside yourself. Question yourself. Take responsibility for your actions
.
I saw a woman in an interview say that she would happily give up all her liberties for freedom. It is a contradiction in terms! If she really sat down and thought about what she said it would probably be too late.

@def44 Evolution does not require elevating beyond the self.
There is nothing wrong with being rational and selfish.

@SculptedThoughts 'There is nothing wrong with greed' the answer to that will make itself present to you in time. 'desire for the self' I know we are just animals but I was hoping we could just evolve just that bit quicker because we have the capacity to! I am still reeling from your first statement and have got nothing more to say.
You just said it for me.

@def44 1) There is nothing wrong with greed, or a desire for the self.
2) I disagree. Even if some people cannot afford to feed themselves, those with the funds are not responsible. The real "cracks" are with those people who believe that they are, and have thus developed systems like Welfare.

@SculptedThoughts I know that the need for money gives most people a reason to bother getting up and going to work but when people are unable to survive because those higher up are mis-managing funds then the cracks start to appear.
I made this over 3 years ago so it probably needs revising but I have less time available due to spending most of my time trying to keep my head above water. In essence I am having to work harder because my money isn't worth what it was 3 years ago.

@SculptedThoughts I agree with you whole heartedly, all I am alluding to is how much does an individual actually need to live on, depending on thir tastes. One million in anyones currency would sort someone for life. There really is nothing to stop redistribution of wealth except that it waters down the power of those in control and those that are in control in my opinion are getting greedy. Far too greedy.

@SculptedThoughts
Hey, I'm loving the questions but I am going to have to answer them next time I come on here.
Got a business and an ill friend to attend to plus some sleep I have to catch.
Be back soon. I don't believe someone being succesful is evil by the way. Not one bit.

particularly if s/he does not donate to those who don’t have the same dollars. They don’t owe you, or anyone, anything.
If you did not intend that message, I’d encourage you to be more careful with your word choice.

“Governments with huge resources, individuals with more money than they can spend in a lifetime and yet injustice on a massive scale goes on daily around the planet.
“Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have started a ball rolling but is it enough?”
Those “individuals with more money than they can spend” earned every penny. While some people attain wealth and status through cheating, it is completely wrong to assume that because a person is successful and doing well, s/he is evil,

Gladly.
I love the way you put this video together. It is well organized - the music is relevant. Aesthetically appealing, etc. I also love the idea that we make the future, because this is completely true. However, your idea of corruption is atrocious.
