I can see that you are an ardent fan of Late Mohammad Rafi like millions of us in India and every where on the planet. When Sonu Nigam tries to sing his song, he is in noway claiming to match Rafisaheb's art and abilities. But you also can't ignore the fact that Sonu is a very good playback singer in his own right and has reasonably large fan following. (Contd.......)

He adores Rafi's singing, grew up singing his songs and gets inspiration from it. When today's young generation will not know or hear Rafi, I encourage Sonu's effort to revive this not so distant history.
