"I was speaking to the legality of using a drug dog alerting to establish probable cause." I'm not questioning the legality of a dog alert establishing probable cause.
What I am questioning was your statement that the Suprememe Court has upheld it at this type of checkpoint when you said: "The Supreme Court has upheld that a trained drug dog alerting at a checkpoint is sufficient probable cause for a search of a vehicle"
@Pafoofnik1 I was speaking to the legality of using a drug dog alerting to establish probable cause. If you were speaking about the legality of border patrol checkpoints far inside the border, I don't know of any case law for that. The cases that I referred to upheld that drug dogs alerting do establish probable cause.
@Pafoofnik1 A cursory search found 2 higher court cases, although not a Supreme Court Case. I will look further. United States v Solis (536 F. 2d 880 (1976) Ninth Circuit. Hearn v Board of Public Education (191 F. 3d 1329 (1999) Eleventh Circuit.

"the drug agent proceeded to the designated gas station open to the public "
Hearn also was not about checkpoints:
"refusing to take a drug test after marijuana was allegedly found in her car in the school's parking lot."
You said checkpoints. I assume you mean the type of checkpoint shown in this video.
Keep looking.

OK then, it shouldn't be too hard for you to back up your claim.
Simply cite the law that requires me to answer agents questions at this type of checkpoint.
