Church of Scientology Demands

Message to Anonymous & Cos Members:
Having been involved in a number of successful actions I have a strong suggestion for you.
Although the management of the Church of Scientology and it's militant arm Office of Special Affairs are scurrying to protect themselves it is time we made the decision that will give us true direction and widespread public support.
For the May action I advise you to start with a list of demands.
The list of demands should be 5-10. I have 9 that I believe would result in sweeping changes in the way CoS operates.
A list of demands will make it clear to members and management exactly what they can do to satisfy you and appease public opinion.
It is also a way for the general public to understand what your concerns are. It will also give us the future direction for each protest.
Based on previous Sci concerns members' concerns, here are my SUGGESTIONS for the list:
1.The CoS must PAY TAX. Since they charge escalating fees, have umbrella organizations and copyrights they do not have a right to claim non-profit nor charitable status.
2.They must CEASE ALL LITIGATION and harassment towards detractors IMMEDIATELY as a church. Libel or slander against one individual by another is a private matter—instigating civil actions as an institution with a vast array of lawyers for the purpose of intimidation is an abuse of the court system
3.They must DEMOCRATIZE. Yearly, they must hold votes within their membership to decide who sits on the local and international board of directors. This must be done clearly in the public eye so the membership cannot be coerced.
4.The OFFICE OF SPECIAL AFFAIRS [OSA] must be permanently dismantled.

5.The practise of "FAIR GAME" must cease immediately. The policy of fair game must be removed.
6.The practise of DISCONNECTION must cease immediately. The policy must be removed.
7.Rehabilitation Project Force [RPF] must be dismantled immediately. The policy must be removed.
8.All staff must be treated in accordance with local labour statutes and paid according to those statutes.
9.The Church of Scientology must adhere to ALL LOCAL LAWS and rights and remove any policies that conflict with those laws.
For anyone who believes this to be religious bigotry. If your churches or charitable agencies are NOT following these then I suggest to you that it is time that you consider making these demands or finding another church to attend.

i agree although the word demand is strong once u start it really follows with what we are asking and if you read the "demands" there common sense requests that should already be taking place.... i heart u anonoutreach for your vids

Tell you the truth, this is a step I almost expect from Anonymous. So far it has been peaceful protests and informing the public and reaching out to those who desperately want to leave the church. The church will continue its practices until they are forced to do otherwise. The best bet is to convince your congressman that these are reasonable terms and should be investigated by the US government until the Co$ complies.

Debate whether or not you believe those are valid demands from those who oppose CoS practises.

What works? What doesn't work? Is it possible to make such demands?

Given that there have been a number of recent RICO developments--is it necessary anymore?

There are probably dozens of debate points in such a video depending on how one wants to view such a list.

As for the Viacom problem--it's not relevant to this particular video. It's a South of France argument.
