Walk'n With Walken: Michael Jackson Beats Off

Christopher Walken, with the help of Randy Newman, puts on the sequin glove and fedora hat to become the next King of Pop. The question is, does Walken have what it takes to live up to Michael Jackson's legacy?

This is the longest Walken episode to date. Not only that, but I feel it's the most ambitious. The episode was in development for almost two months, which is a pretty long time considering most Walken episodes in the past took about two weeks to complete. The animation in this episode is probably the most extenstive out of any animated cartoon I've done before. This is also the first episode to be produced in HD. So while this series is almost three years old, this particular episode contains many new advancements in my work.

It's a calculated risk to release an episode like this, for I know many people out there are going to find it distasteful and all that. Equally, others will love it because they'll see it as a bash fest. The funny thing is, I love Michael Jackson's work, so I consider this to be a tribute. Yes, the humor is rough and yes we do take shots at some of Jackson's eccentricities, but it's all in fun. The main point here is as we watch the characters try to replicate Jackson's success, they simply can't. And of course this is to show that there will never be another entertainer like Michael Jackson.
