  • I didn't speed up the video.

I enabled the "Quick Boot" and "Boot Booster" feature in BIOS. This helps a lot!!

  • Nice time! but i think you can win an extra few seconds with "minilogon". Google it...

  • thats SWEET can you use quick boot and boot booster if you put vista on it?

  • there is a bios booster setting thing that basically skips bios and post for the most part

  • i have one of the 900 with the celeron, its actually very fast you would be surprised. watch it please :D

  • the Boot Booster setting in the BIOS writes basic things like amount of ram, etc. on your ssd and reads them when booting. This speeds up the whole boot process.

  • I have video too and my eee 901 performs pretty much at same time. Watch it and leave comment :) . Thx. This is nice little thingy to come along in travels etc.

  • That's a vague presentation. Didn't really prove anything though. Why don't you be more specific and give us some specifications on what it is that your working with. It was a 45 second video that said nothing.

  • Sorry about my first comment, video clearly isn't speed up.

But how on earth did you get your Eee to bypass BIOS so fast?

  • Impressive, about the same time that Eee 901 with stock Xandros.

But how did you get your Eee to bypass "BIOS-stage" so fast? It took about 13 secs. in Xandros version (and it's not related to OS), but in your video it was only about 6 secs.

So, you didn't speed up your video, didn't you?
