It is such a shame that Great Britain is in the state that is now, my generation are pretty much done for, mostly inflicted by people in it really. This song is brilliant alone and with that incredible backing of the Rolls Royce Merlin it is even better. Maximum respect to all servicemen and women who served and continue to serve for this once Great country. Would be an utter dream job to work with these fabulous pieces of machinery!

I just turned 15. I am American, and when I watch videos like these I wonder what happened with the world. Today's generation takes freedom for granted. My Grandpa Capt. Delmar A. Johnson served on the B-29 "Miss Donna Lee" during WW II (Bombardier). My best friend who was his best friend, Lt. Col. John H. Hug was the Pilot on "Miss Donna Lee".

No, It's a Spitfire. Can't remember the Marque of Spit (maybe MKXIV ?) But the wing tips were "Clipped" to give it MORE speed at higher Altitude, as an attempt to catch and destroy the V1 missiles........some succeeded!
