Remember the old South Side Irish Parade on 79th Street in Chicago? That's the one that Mayor Daley moved downtown in 1960. Here's a video from the 1958 parade - just two years before it left the South Side.

  • I lived at 79th and Aberdeen in the 60's, I graduated from Calumet High School on 81st and May st.

  • 79th and Sangamon by leo high school.

  • 79th and what? ashland? western? it culdnt have been further east, i think that was shit back then too. must have been western or kedzie, maybe past st. rita. ????? anybody know?
