F-15E Strike Eagle

Known as the Mudhen by its pilots and crews, the F-15E is a new addition to the airshow circuit. It is most certainly LOUD. In fact, people who mourn the retirement of the Tomcat will find that this plane is very close in terms of sheer bone-rattling noise. The team is based out of Seymour Johnson AFB, NC.

Actually the Strike Eagle is cleared up to 9Gs. Take off the air to ground load and it can turn just as well as the F-15C.

The Strike Eagle is the best aircraft ever to take to the air. I totally agree with u zigeunerjack. The sound of jet engines is AWESOME!

Saw this plane for real ,and its wonderful bird ,i was suprised how huge this plane is.

The f-15e is great ive never seen an f-15e in demo but looks just as good as teh C version. To be honest the E looks even better doing a display .

Ok, whats so interesting about seeing a f-15 turn around and around, climb dive, and pull up again? and who said anything about mourning the 'cat? They've still got 100 f-14 in action on special missions! Long live the amazing tomcat!

All of the USAF's F-15E fleet will possibly be retrofitted to the Plus standard. The Super Eagle !!!!

Boeing has put forth a proposal for an advanced version of the F-15E to serve as stopgap in the event of a slowdown of the JSF. It also is trying to make a acase that the a/c is needed in any event.Boeing points out of the the three aircraft (JSF and the F-22) only the F-15 can carry the heaviest of the bunker busting bombs.
