During orbital daytime, it is simply because of the light from the sun. Just like here on Earth, the stars simply cannot outshine the sun.
During orbital night, they ARE visible, but no to low-res cameras like the ones used here. The human eye and HD cameras can see them.

ok i know alot about space and enganiring but i have been woundering why cant you see any stars from the clips they show i know there is a logical answer maybe i will google it but if anyone knows can you answer it
