@rolram1973 long time passed and no one answered? There is no compatibility issue between v2.0 and 2.1 - this comes from ATI directly. Any 2.0 interface will work. If you worked with geforce card so far it is no wonder u had issues with your real time openGL render. any of these will do fine - 2 with crossfire is really abit over the top. Even if you have millions of polys or a lot of complex nurb objects it should be ok - if not try to use layers more then.

Hi, question, planing to change my card to that one, I'm normally work for 3D Max, Rivet and After Effects rendering is my problem because i'm using GeForce GTX, My MOBO (Abit IX38QuadGT) said PCI-E support 2.0, I'm looking for 2x V5900 crossfire or V7900, but this fire pro is 2.1, please let me know is it possible or work to my MOBO
