Everybody's talking about the Wikileaks, how do we balance people's right to know with the need for government security?
"You know when it came to that situation it was actually based on espionage, and when it comes to the security of our nation we have to focus on security first, and then people's right to know. Because it's so important that everyone in our borders is safe, and so we can't let things like that happen and they must be handled properly... and I think that was the case."
The pentagon released a paper indicating no reports of harm or even incite to harm came from the War Logs. Since then we've only had office papers.
Whether or not Assange is a hero, anarchist or fraud, information is now being spread at a much faster pace than any one organization can handle. Can we all agree that areas of government secrecy needs to decrease?
How long have we waited for SOME transparency. Well here it is.

@bliss2return please, in Sweden we don't need her... and there are actually many cool aware people here, but sadly, someone can always be bought, no matter what colour the flag is..

I think anyone, before having the right to speak on Assange's acts and pass judgment, should know what the true scale of what's been revealed. Otherwise, you have two choices. Believe Assange and other people that they are actually not releasing information that are a physical national security threat; or believe the others who say that they are physical threats. Personally though, I think if it really isn't a physical or military threat; go ahead. Show the corrupt actions of the US government.
