  • Does your dvd that you sell show you how to properly adjust the blades on the boxes? Ive got a set of the tools and so far im highly disapointed in them. They slowed me down 4 or 5 times what i can do by hand instead of speeding me up. Im sure its because im not doing something right. i just wanna give them a chance instead of throwing them down considering what they costed.

  • If they are Goldblatt boxes, no. Goldblatt took all of the adjustability out of them with their re-design, which was quite ill-informed.

The engineers that change taping tools only look at profits, never at workability. The best bet today is to stick with the original designs, regardless of who makes it.

Goldblatt is the biggest offender right now on design changes at the expense of workability. Their taper is the only thing that they have in the line that is a good value for a good tool.

  • That is not a Bazooka he is running it is a ToolPro Taper. You can only get a genuine Bazooka fro Ames Tools!

  • You should also mention the "to the moon" rental rates down at Ames. You can buy this taper for 6 months of Ames rental.

  • I hope I'm as fast at that age to still keep taping. Don't you get tired of this trade? I'm 34 and burned out.

  • Look for an exit now, everybody starts calling you "burnout" at 40. I made it to 50, it is downhill from there.

    Thanks, jl

  • @cbseahawk and need a week off to recuperate

  • @jrnyace i taped fron 1978 til 2009 .and that was it. i work at a restoration company for 26 an hour now, they gave me a van, blackberry and gascard... i'll never look back

  • @rseiberos2002 the bazooka is as follows: it's a union tool meant for 2 guys wiping behind you,2 - it's too heavy and your tired by 11 in the morning,3 it's useless in the high parts where you have to climb a ladder to get in tight spaces.4 it's expensive .5 it's a bitch to clean and parts are costly. for a one man show get the supertaper. a taper you stick in the bucket and feed the roll threw .

  • Be " aware " of doing buisness with this guy, LOSER

  • I wish we could hang it as fast as you tape it!!! Ah well...we're pinjointers not speeddemons...LOL....NICE JOB btw
