Black Truffles

Australian Chef, Benjamin Christie visited the Blue Frog Truffle Farm on the outskirts of Canberra for their annual winter truffle hunt. The truffle hunt for the black truffle started off early in the morning allowing the truffle dogs to hunt down the scent of the black truffle.

Truffle oil is not like normal oil,if you cook with it,the heat will kill its flavor,and fresh truffle only pro chefs can actually get the most out of this,so if you don't know how to use it,don't waste your time and money. a really good way to taste its flavor,is in soups.

Truffles take a lot of effort to harvest. The best and most expensive ones are found in the wild. You don't just sit down and eat a raw truffle, you use it as garnish on a dish or to add flavor.
