  • Great video but could you take this one step further and show me how to replace the chain oiler pump. I would like to see how you remove the clutch assembly from the shaft to get to the chain oiler pump.

  • Great suggestion about the chain oiler pump. I'll get on to it when I get the chance. Thanks for the idea. David.

  • I don't know whats more important...Saw maintenance or how to use it? I do know a improperly maintained saw could kill you just as fast as a tree falling on ya... B safe out there... Know your saw.........

  • Rim Sprockets are better these days.

  • Worst accent ever , Atleast learn how to pronounce the words correctly if you are going to do a instructional video , lazy pommy bastard

  • love this saw

  • what a great video. thanks.

  • Thanks, I''ve been trying to get my old sprocket off and didn't even think about the stoopid brake.

  • It not a circlip it i an e clip!

  • I can hear a vac running in the back ground...LOL

  • You use your seat belt, hopefully, because it costs nothing to use, and might save your life. Well, the floating rim system is safer, costs less to use in the long run, and won't destroy your chain if you throw the chain. My question is why wouldn't you use the floating rim system. I've got about 10,000 hours running chainsaws, and thousands of hours of working on other peoples saws. I have seen many problems caused by the open spur sprocket-it is garbage compared to the floating rim system.

  • @treemaninOregon

weve used that style for many hours of use with no problem. Ill look into the floating rim system though.

  • your in the stone age,the Rim Sprocket Is way better, plus smoother running.
