  • He was spared because of one thing: he was an artist and was originally forced to draw pictures of Pol Pot (as horrible as it seems it's the absolute truth). He later documented what he saw with this same skill.

  • what a brave man. i wouldn't have it in me to talk to these men in a civil way.

  • Correction: Van Nath

  • I've purchased this film on DVD.

It's disturbing to watch Prak Khan's and Him Huy's slogan-laden, self-serving answers to Heng Nath's humane, common sense questions.

  • Yes that is true kawaibakeneko.By the way you English is much better than my French. The U.S.A originally enterd the Vietnam war to help the French.God bless

  • it was the cold war if the "west" help them... a third world war, and if only the "west" really known what happened in cambdoge? (sorry for my bad english, im french)

  • I been like that the same they talking about.

I believed the khmer rouge just kept jealousing, hating, racing to all people that why they kept killing khmer people.

Please all politicians do not use those words all of above to run the country.

  • I was so disappointed to hear Pol Pot died without being punished. Show what politics and individual greed do to the world.

Theyve destroyed at least 2 generations. Estimated 1% of women in Phnom Penh are prostitutes and 40-50% of them have aids. We are all lucky & should help Cambodians. Their life has been made much harder for no fault of their own. No, Im not cambodian.

This man was a prisoner but the guards found he was an excellent artist. They let him live so he could paint them.

  • Pol Pot and his Khmer rouge soldiers traded there human hearts for hearts of devil beasts. How could people to this to there own inocent people.EVEN LITTLE KIDS!!!! Why didn't the west help them?

  • its sad
