Pretty awesome... Covers the car in foam and the most of the dirt and dust just drips right off carried by excess foam. Even more fun, it breaks down like a gun into component pieces... Pretty sweet... Shot in HD on a 5d mk2.

  • Hey, so you dont need an air compressor for this? also, no need to use a washing mitt? everything is touchless? cept for drying?

  • @1llest8 I do use a microfiber sponge to quickly go over the car. The cool thing is that any and all grit seems to just fall off so the sponge doesn't actually seem to pick up anything, so the chances of scratching the car with picked up junk are radically reduced.

  • yep. as long as you get the versions with multiple ratio settings you can use virtually any liquid form soap.

  • lol. i dont properly wax my car at all. just use that spray on stuff. i do wash it about once a month and it is garaged. it sheets off that way regardless of how dirty it is.

  • Ah, the black ring between the handle and the part with the soap supply is a collar quick release. When you pull back on it you can pull the front off and you're left with just the handle and trigger which can blast water to rinse with.

  • The foam amount is also dependant on the type of shampoo or snow foam you use. Not all strip wax, that demends again on the product and it ph level and what type of wax was applied. These are great if you want to wash the vehicle without the hassle of pressure washers and power supplies or if you just don't have a pressure washer.

  • you have a black car. do you get soap spots after you wash with it?

  • @urbex2007 Are you mad? Lots of foam strips wax? Ok I am not even going to go there. You sir, are an idiot.

  • Amazing on some of the comments vs a lance and the Porsche comment. Idiots. I picked one up also, and the results are same as yours. Works as I expected, and no doubt with just a single bucket of clear/warm water to rinse the sponge, the dirt that settles at the bottom (below the bucket base) is far-far less than before, so less on the car. This eliminates the need to even "chase" the car with a soapy sponge from bucket to car, where with this you have foamed/soap/water over all the areas.

  • wow sick 5d video

what kind of soap did you use?

  • The foam is use to loosen dirt and fine dust that have accumulated. Plus depend on what soap you use that will end up stripping the wax of, if it's high on alkaline like dish washing soap then yes. Majority of car washing soaps won't strip the wax.

  • OMFG that thing is *USELESS* compared to a proper foam lance on a power washer. If you can afford a Porsche, you can certainly afford a decent Karcher. That must be THE most useless thing I have seen for producing foam at normal water pressures. You would be best soaking the car with the hose, then using a bucket of water with car wash in it. Don't forget that a lot of FOAM strips the wax, so you have to polish then wax the car after washing it. Do it properly for a good finish.

  • What lens was used on the 5D?

  • @xilvar

Thats what I noticed, I was going to do it panel by panel but I saw virtually no dirt on my glove so did most of the car!
