  • This looks like the best other media depiction of Magneto. The one in the 90s cartoon only spent two episodes as a real villain, X-men Evolution's version was all right, but I felt he spent a bit too much time in the background, and the movie was alright, but not as intimidating due to his actor.

  • @dragonstormx What was wrong with Sir Ian McKellan? He was terrific. And before you say "he was too old" well, what do you expect a Holocaust survivor to look like in the year 2000 onward?

  • Definately one of Marvel's best shows and a truely epic version of Magneto to boot. Too bad that it only got one season and that Nickolodean owns it.

  • @GAvillain I always gave it a solid B+. Not a perfect show, but a very good show. Some things they did were definitely great, and Magneto was one of those things. I wish YouTube let me actually post the tribute, but they can't stop me from posting a link in the description.

I'd have liked to see a season two. I heard season three would have been House of M.

Nothing was wrong with him, the problem is that pretty much every other depiction of him always carries more of an air of menace, to a degree that it seems to ignore his age. Thinking about this is actually making me wonder how Magneto should be portrayed, since his designs generally seem to ignore that he's an old man.

Why did that show get cancelled anyways?

  • @GregXB3 I agree completely. And it is unfortunate that Nickolodean/Lionsgate are such douchebags about their films being online. If only the show had aired on Disney....

Season Two with Apocalypse would have been really nice and a House of M season three would have been epic.

On the bright side, though, Marvel's latest three shows (Wolverine, Spectacular, and Avengers) have all been stunningly well done so I am very hopeful for Marvel's future in animation.
