Henry, this is really beautiful. And it's great to see the whole process of layering the color. I particularly like the sky and background impressionistic washes--lovely light.
Yes, the SW landscape is so unique and as you said, so different than the wet, green northwest, and other places, which are beautiful in a very different way.
