*** About the Walk For Liberty

What are you willing to do for freedom?

Vote? Protest? Participate in a rally? Walk all the way across the country?

We are.

This summer, a group of activists will be walking across America to achieve more freedom and liberty.

Our pioneer forefathers trekked across the continent from the east to the west to find a better life for themselves. This time, we're doing it in reverse.

I am walking coast-to-coast across the country, from Oregon to New Hampshire. I am joined by my immediate family as well. We're on a quest to gain more freedom for ourselves and for our country by spreading the message of freedom and liberty along the way.

Why are we doing this?

We see the gradual chipping away at freedoms in America, and want to do our part to stop it. My wife and I are moving to New Hampshire as part of the Free State Project. New Hampshire is already the freest state in the country, which is why we are moving there. But we also want to help bring more freedom to as many other people as possible.

Therefore we are walking across America to get to New Hampshire. We are walking all the way there to bring as much media attention and publicity as possible to two liberty-oriented causes: the Free State Project, which is working to make New Hampshire even more free, and Ron Paul's message of freedom for everyone. • Yes. I think you'll get a better idea of the layout of the refinery from Google Earth than a street level video.

  • You're just being difficult. Get over it! They were only doing their job, and you were just being an ass. If you were cooperative in the first place the police would have been nice all along. Maybe you should grow up and act like an adult.

  • what an annoyingly petty geek. He was lucky those cameras were up on the southside or else the gangbangers would have made him a statistic.

  • Dude ur problem is ur a smart ass. Cops don't have a personal problem with u. They don't even know you. They're human beings just like you and me, and all they want to do is do their job and get home to their wives and girlfriends safely and you were making it hard for them. And what kind of idiot doesn't carry an ID???

  • How old does one have to be to legally sleep on the streets?

  • All part of the gentle tyranny. No matter how nice the police talk, they still have guns to back it up.

  • BP? Hmmm.... Well, well, well!

  • Welcome to good ol' Whiting Indiana son! I grew up there and trust me sounds like nothing has changed only thing is I was worse than you. I am going home soon to see the old neighborhood looking forward to pissing the boys off on last time as I did all through the 80's and 90's. Sorry to say that is how things are done there good luck with your journey.

  • koontz67 I hope you're on your deathbed and look back and say, "hey all I have done is work and pay taxes, now I am dead" I work but someone who walks across the country is obviously not lazy. You are just ignorant. Every encounter with indiana cops I have had (two) they have been nazi like characters who give you no room until you ackowledge their power, fucking pigs, suck my dick

  • The Police Observation Cameras are creepy and unsettling in a "1984-ish" way. BUT, at least they arent hidden. The flashing lights alert you to the camera so you KNOW that you are being filmed. You are on a PUBLIC STREET. We have no "rights" to NOT be filmed while in public/on a public street. WHICH IS WHY you have a right to use your own camera and videotape things in public. Works both ways. I like the idea of Police Cameras. They are creepy but its very valid.

  • IS there a "LAW" against taking still/video pictures while in public? A refinery...OK there IS a valid securtity threat. But the way these cops approach people is what works AGAINST them. This guy is only telling a story. Doesnt mean that any of it is FACT. But I do believe him.
