I remember spending tons of quarters on this machine. It was at $1 per credit! Was it worth it? Hell yes.

This game, along with Terminator 2 ARCADE, was one of my favorite arcade machines of all time. The STRONG TORQUE on the steering wheel made it very realistic. It pulled very hard on the wheel during turns and felt so realistic. The game is VERY challenging even on the easiest track with the best car (I always picked the McLaren F1). I want one of these in my house!

I don't know the specs for what VO:OT is running, but to me, the Model 3 games that were not done perfectly on the Dreamcast (VF3, and most notably Sega Rally 2) seemed to be more demanding as far as the insane amounts of polygons, textures and effects displayed. And then Super GT and Daytona 2 are on another level- seriously, what aside from current generation games even look as good? I think that the Model 3, when really pushed, could do things that Dreamcast or even PS2 could not.

They didn't include it in the soundtrack, and I don't think it can be ripped from the rom yet.

I saw this game in action in various arcades (and Adventure Landing) around 1998 (though Daytona USA 2 got my attention more). Is this a cabinet where the seats move?

No I don't think Twin cabinets have that feature...I'd love to get at least 2 Deluxe ones.
