  • do they just eat it whole?

  • No. They slightly liquify it with their venom, and chew what's not juicy. It gets a bit gory, but you get used to it ;)

  • The calcium in mice can cause malformations in the exoskeleton, often times resulting in death in T's who are fed a strict rodent diet.

  • I'm well aware. Mice are a once a month (or longer) treat. Usually right after she's hardened from a molt.

  • wow that was a difficult catch.

at least give him a challenge

  • She gets a challenge the other three weeks out of the month when she's fed roaches. I feed young mice so she's not bitten and hurt by her food.

  • THAT THING IS BEAST!

  • :( it was a baby mouse..oh well..food chain..

U should actually let the spider "hunt" the mouse. its better for it then just ..feeding it like that..That's how I feel.

Im sad that the baby mouse got killed but I understand that it was for food. So It was used in a good way. I still feel bad cuz im an animal luver..but I had a spider too. I had to do the same shit.

  • You own a very beutiful spider

I want one just like that

  • No. She's a female. Just a VERY well cared for captive bred one.

  • This looks somewhat different from other T. blondis I've seen. Is it a male?
