I would say that 10.4-10.6 is an impossible upgrade, not a downgrade. ;-)

Do these Clamshell ones have the same dreaded logic board failures as the later white G3's and G'4s? I had a white G3 that lasted six months before logic board failure.
I always thought these were cool, the design is like no other laptop made.
LOL At least it is still in one piece, though I am just as confused as you as to how the power button got shattered. I am sure you know, but new ones can be gotten on eBay.

@clubcar98 No, but there were many failures, but not nearly as many as the white iBooks. I will say this for the whities; I have a fleet of about 30 of them at work (they're used by middle-school kids as part of a mobile lab), and they are BEATEN on every day (for the past ten years). I've had a few logic board failures, but other than that, they're tough as nails!
