  • Where is this show? Does it move around or is it in one place every year.

  • The video was recorded at the 5th Annual Old Construction & Surface Mining Equipment Show in and the Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park grounds, located on Ohio Route 519, between New Athens, Ohio & U.S. Route 22.

    The show is held annually.

  • Yeah, I had a blast at the show. If you want to see more, I have uploaded a bunch of pictures and videos to my Flickr account "tmoertel". (YouTube apparently won't let me give you a link, so you'll have to go to Flickr, click the Search link in the upper-right corner, select the People tab, enter "tmoertel" in the search form, and finally click Search.)

On Ohio 519 (Stumptown Road), between U.S. 22 and New Athen, ohio.

  • It is nice to have Youtube. I'm learning about more & more equipment shows. I'm a member of the HCEA Myself.

  • the boom has got be at 45 degrees

  • Another thing the bucket and hardware is in bad shape.

  • i understand but you would get far bigger buckets of meterial if you knock out the pear and shorten it a bit no need to even cut it , just shorten anchor again and throw a few bulldogs clips on to keep the tail end in check

  • The one cable is short. The short cable was donated by a company that had a Marion 111-M with a shorter boom. For what they are using it for it didn't matter. Just have to use cation operating it.

  • hi tmoertel, great video , but i'd shorten that tipping rope a tad seems a bit on the long side , what do you think
