A short video in which brothers of the Irish Province of the Dominicans share a few concepts about different aspects of our Dominican vocation and the Dominican Life. Some of these elements are our of prayer and contemplation, our praying together in choir, our life of study, of preaching and ministry and of community.

  • After more than 10 years as an agnosti I came back to God and my "first" confession was with a Dominican, just because there was a convent right beside my home. Later I discovered their charisma and was SO fascinated by it, now I would like to be a lay Dominican. Preaching, contemplation and study is what I love most. I thank God that he let me know this Order.

    Sancte Dominice ora pro nobis.

  • Nicely done.

  • well than we shall be brother beggars. I want to be a franciscan but St Francis and St Dominic were great friends and their orders do a lot of work and have a special fraternity between the two.

  • This is the text of the office, a prayer to St Dominic:

"O lumen ecclesiae, doctor veritatis, rosa patiantiae, ebur castitatis, aquam sapientiae propinasti gratis, praedicator gratiae, nos iunge beatis"

  • wow, what a story, very inspirational, what made you come to realize that God was real?

  • Very beautiful luuk well done.

  • vita et spes nostra, spes totaeque Ecclesiae SALVE!!!
