KRLD does an report on an Amber Alert

this is an news report of an Amber Alert (which has been since canceled , as the person it was issued for has been found alive.) from KRLD Newsradio 1080 AM out of Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX. i recorded the audio from the KRLD internet webcast, with an program on my computer that lets me record audio from an webstream. plus another video of mine feature the same alert sound that you will here in this video.

Due to chain letters, spammers, and trolls who start flame wars and call people racial slurs, all comments will be approved by me only.

who cares, when i made it, it was an few days after, plus if i messed up the grammar (which you spelled wrong) so what, I'm an redneck, and i admit it. but at least i finished high school when i graduated in 2004 (which most rednecks don't even stay in school). but to make sure this doesn't turn into an full on Youtuber flame war, i was stop the war by not allowing flamming comments.

That sound is utterly horrifying. I have only heard it on Canadian Amber Alert videos. It gets my attention all right. Now I will not sleep tonight :(

@boutitbenza699 Yes, you are correct, CP24 has similar jingle (as you can hear between 0:26-0:31) when they cover an AMBER ALERT, I have one on my YouTube channel.

What a sickening sound. Our Amber Alert system does not use that tone. They instead use the EAS tone similar to how a Tornado Warning. I wish our state used this tone because I believe it gets your attention and it just makes you want to look everywhere you can for the missing person.

@toncookie337 i don't think this sound existed in 1992, but a element of the sound loosely based on a tornado/nuclear bombing alarm sirens that go off for a tornado (it's really big here in Texas as we in "tornado alley")
