"Moses and Telletubbies Under Arrest"

This is a recorded demonstration that took near the US Capitol protesting the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Protection Act (H.R. 1592), which would grant special rights to homosexuals. This law would add sexual orientation to federal hate crimes statutes.

  • The irony of this video leaves me speechless! White American Christians oppressed??? You've got to be kidding me! No one's stopping you from being Christian! Or straight! Perhaps you should put down your bible and try reading the US constitution. Does "separation of church and state" ring a bell? It prevents zealots like YOU from writing your single-minded philosophy into the laws of this country.

  • First, read the constitution. There is no phrase in it that says "seperation of church and state."

Second, the Hate Crimes bill (HR 1592) not only means that all forms of speach, just as demonstrated in the video will be punished.

  • While the literal phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear in the Constitution, the concept is indeed there. The First Amendment says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...." Thus, the phrase the "separation of church and state" is a summarization of what the First Amendment's religion clauses do--they separate church and state.

PS - Learn how to spell.

  • Public Advocate of the U.S. Inc. marks the passing of Senator Ted Kennedy. We will not disband the Ted Kennedy Swim Team. We will not disband the Ted Kennedy Thought Control Police. We will not disband the Kennedy Sobriety Checkpoint. They will continue to be on active duty to stop bad legislation being promoted to "honor" the legacy of Ted Kennedy.

  • tinkey winkeys GAY he deserves to be arrested

  • I oppose hate crime legislation because I think it is extraordinarily dangerous to punish one crime more than an identical crime because of the motivations involved. However, I have to agree with jillsr. It's pretty galling for White Christian America to play the victim card. Nobody's passing Constitutional amendments to keep them from marrying each other.

  • Thought control police ROTFL!

  • * denies Ryan three times *

  • very interesting. good one, ryan, haha.
