On July 13th 2008 the 82nd Airborne 1st BCT returned from a 13 month deployment to Iraq. This video catches the homecoming. Congrats to all those in the Brigade and that serve so bravely.
I will pass it on. I told my brother to watch it and he knows you guys. He says you are in the Army as well, correct? My mom got to go see him come home. I'm happy he had her there. We get to see him in a couple of weeks..yeah! If you have any other videos on here, let me know. Thanks :)
Yep - the couple in the film is my son and daughter-in-law (the baby lived with us for 17 months while they were in Iraq and Afghanistan, respectively) and they are both 82nd Airborne. Have fun when you see you brother - and tell him we said "Thank you for the service".
Please pass it on to everyone you know okay? Not many folks get to see soldiers come marching home and not many know the heroes welcome they are receiving! Thanx for the note!
I use Apple Mac's iMovie 6.0 to make my movies (6.0 is much more versatile than the newer version). Add-ons to iMovie (6.0) include EyeCandy, iPhoto and QuickTime. The camera used for this film is the Canon Power Shot S5-IS.
