So Chris Benoit had brain damage. Did we fans cause it? Does that make us accessories to the murder?

  • Once again baloney, if chris had the brain of an eighty -year-old he would not be able to fly through the ring in the matter that he did.

  • I'm not disagreeing with you on that, I'm just saying that as fans maybe we ask too much from our heroes. thanks for replying.

  • Wrestlers, football players- they are like the modern gladiators.

  • I remember the first couple of times seeing the flying headbutt way back in the WCW days I wondered what kind of damage is he doing to his brain with that? But as time went on I didn't really thing about it, not like that anyways.

    Sad really.

  • @Adino1 He really needed an other finisher. Not only did that damage him but it just seems stupid. Diving your head into someone else is bound to hurt you. Might as well have been a normal headbutt for a finisher

  • It DEFINITELY changed the view on Benoit, WWE, McMahons and pro-wrestling in general. Everyone wanted to jump on the "steroid bandwagon" anytime anything illegal happens with a wrestler, but considering he ROUTINELY headbutted opponents in the SHOULDER sometimes from 15 FEET, SOMETHING had to snap sooner or later. Also it adds kind of a sadness when looking at Benoit and Eddie holding their titles together at Wrestlemania.

  • yes we ask to much and the company ask to much

    too

  • Dude the sound quality is poor but i do like your vlogs....Speak louder

  • Chris Benoit was a great wrestler. I loved watching him because he was one of the few that actually got down and wrestled. Yes, he chose the life. WWE decides the stunts and what is allowed. It was not all his choice, it was his dream and his life. RIP the Benoits. You have to admit they have one hell of a wrestling team in Heaven.

  • I agree with you there. A lot of fans want so much more "extreme" wrestling to the point where it's not even wrestling anymore. We have street fights and hardcore matches, and most ACTUAL wrestling we see out of those is a finisher or a move off of something.

I think the WWE needs to be more watchful of their staff and take better precautions for these kinds of things.
