  • That was humorous but it also made me feel bad. I dont know how I would measure things by pie but I know that I would rather serve God first than anything else.

  • Tithing does not apply.

The most common passage used to say it is , is Malachi 3:7-10.

"This whole Nation" in verse 9 is the backslidden Nation of Israel, NOT the present day church (Malachi 1:1; 3:6).

Remember people that Israel was under Mosaic Law which was NEVER instituted to Gentiles (regardless of the fact that we have reconciliation together, no longer Jew and Gentiles, but one Body, saved by Grace through faith).

  • I agree. We are to tithe the first fruits of everything, up to & including our time . Time spent with Him in His Word, Worship & fellowship..

  • It is no fool who gives what he can not keep to gain what he can not lose! The Old Covenant required 10% The New Covenant requires a life for a life! Everything I own is His. Nothing on this side of eternity matters but Christ & what He died for. There is not one thing we will take with us but souls. When I nearly died I did not think of how much money I had kept from building the kingdom. All I knew was Jesus & the souls I would leave behind Let us win for Christ the rewards of His suffering

  • What verse says that the Saved(Born-Again) should give 10% to God or to the Building where followship is held??? I can't find that verse in my KJ Bible.

  • its sad. people really live like that.

  • awsome :D

  • Not much left to the "ANCIENT OF DAYS" (GOD)...shame on I...may GOD forgive me and have mercy on me. 5 stars to this video if not 10 stars. A must to keep.

  • actually God asks for everything - if you notice in the New Testament there are NO scriptures telling us to tithe.

    However...

We do see Jesus & His disciples telling us to give as we see the need.

NT says when there is a change in the priesthood there is also a change in the law. Ummm... perhaps one of the differences between the OT & NT besides Jesus sacrifice for sin is no more tithe, but giving as you are led so the amount you give is the one thats needed at that time?

    Ummm...

    ;)
