You can't be that naive can you? Of course he's not talking about Charles Manson. He's talking about how marilyn manson would set up scenes in his concerts and videos that imitated hitler. The most notable occurence was in his antichrist superstar tour when he set up the stage with nazi imagery in the background and stood in front of a podium, giving the roman salute like the nazis did every time they said heil hitler.

No. He uses androgyny as an artistic tool. It started with glam rock, bowie was known for it. It was originally supposed to shock people out of their comfort zone, but as time went on with bands like afi and him it was just a stylistic thing.

Golden age of grotesque wasn't anywhere near as deep as his other stuff. I've never seen it used of an example of his depth before. Usually its seen as a departure from his normally profound themes.
