The Mind Museum is the FIRST WORLD CLASS SCIENCE MUSEUM to be built in the Philippines. It is scheduled to start construction in mid-2009 and to open on mid-2011. It is currently on a fundraising tour to raise P 1 billion of funding. As of mid-2008, more than 50% of this has been raised with the help of Bonifacio Art Foundation Inc. (the project proponent), Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (which is providing the site in Bonifacio Global City), and the Ayala and Campos groups of companies -- Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Globe Telecom, IMI Group of Companies, Manila Water Corporation (in technical services of water systems), Del Monte, and NutriAsia -- plus Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation.
If you want to help science education in the Philippines and be part of a landmark institution, please contact us at Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. -- Manny Blas or Minnie Santillan at +632-8183601 x 3203.

This is a very exciting project which Filipinos need. However, there is no trace of any construction by the helipad yet. Will it be finished by 2010? Hopefully...
The Philippines is not yet ready for this kind of museum. At present, we lack schools and classrooms in the provinces. The private sector needs to fund these educational facilities, which lack the infrastructure.
its the responsibility of stupid government officials not private sectors. As a citizen its our responsibility to put the right people in the government to represent the interest of the filipino majority.
It is true that it is the responsibility of the government to provide schools and classrooms if the government that you are talking about is the best provider of educational facilities. Like you said, our "stupid government officials" should provide. Will you put the future of our children to these officials you are mentioning? That is exactly why the private sector needs to fund these educational facilities. This is the reason why we have private schools in the country.
Then I guess its about time to pick the righteous leaders by 2010. These lunatic irresponsible politicians can't sit there all the time doing nothing. If we allow this then it will go on for decades or perhaps a century. Also I suggest to revamp our school curriculumn to breed new generation of patriotic leaders and businessmen. If we do this then possibly sustainable growth in the country will no longer be illusive.
