I Gave You All, Mumford & Sons @ Eden Sessions 2010

Here is "I Gave You All" performed in the shade of the biomes of the Eden Project at the Eden Sessions 2010. This is one of my favourite tracks on the album with incredibly powerful music and passionate lyrics. The boys did not disappoint with this one, delivering a very passionate performance of this track. Marcus looked visably moved at the end, as it is clearly a very personal song to him.

This was Mumford & Sons first concert in Cornwall to a small audience of about 6000 people, and will hopefully not be their last. The very enthusiatic welcome they received for their passionate performance will hopefully encourage their swift return. I feel so lucky to have been there to see it for myself, and I am pleased to be able to share a part of it with you now.

It is unfortunate that the bloke in front of me kept bobbing his head in front of the camera throughout this song and I had to keep moving out of his way, so I am sorry if that rather spoilt this clip for you. I was not going to release this video for that reason, but I felt the sheer passion of the performance deserved an airing, despite my shoddy camera work. Hope you do enjoy it.

yes...WOW. the emotion that is captured in this video is breathtaking. i mean, it brought tears to my eyes.

and at 2:30 (force from the world a patient smile) i pretty much melted. the intensity in those eyes brought on the waterworks.

this band is just....PERFECT, in my eyes. :)
