  • انا زعلان جدا لما شفت حمزه علا الدين في الاوبرا وماعرفتوش الله يرحمه

  • Amazing.....

  • Songs will never forgotten

  • Darius is a reinvention of Escalay used as the music of King Darius in the play It is a wonderful opportunity to see how Hamza's vision of his seminal work has evolved in his own playing. Other pieces here offer the same chance: new imaginings of Shortunga and Nabra are likewise explored. Like the gold-tinged cover, this recording gives off warmth and comfort

  • truely mystifying, relaxing and refreshing. That`s what i feel with this piece. Thanks for posting.

  • Love the oud. It's one of the more accessible instruments that make extensive use of microtones. The singing fit perfectly. I thought it was a great touch.

  • He had studied Western music at the Academy of Santa Celia in Rome, expanding his sense of harmony and musical form. After moving to the United States, he taught at various universities and then settled in the Bay Area. At Mills College, he met the esteemed composer Terry Riley, who learned something about understatement from a comment Mr. El Din made to him about singing softly.
