I've had the rebel t2i since november 2010, but just the other day I finally picked up the canon 50mm f1.8 portrait lens, which gives a whole new awesome look to your videos, trust me, if u want a sick and professional looking video, get yourself a portrait lens!
All filmed at 1080p 30fps, edited with sony vegas pro 9.

All my buddies that are featured in the video, here are there channels:

  • PLEASE NOTE, before you make a comment on how shaky some clips are:

    A. This was entirely shot hand-held

    B. I slowed down the footage for the first couple of shots which actually made the image have a dazy/shaky look to it.

    C. This video was made for video quality purposes only, I am making another one with my tripod and other tools, thank you.

  • nice test film! I'm deciding whether to get this camera because of it's attractive quality and its attractive price. Would you recommend it to me because I don't want to waste my money. Thanks!

  • @phycojuicebox I would definately recommend this camera.

The rebel t2i has almost identical video and photo stats as the canon 7D, and btw if your thinking of getting the new t3i, just know that both cameras are exactly the same, the only difference is that the t3i had a flip-screen.

I WOULD highly recommend getting the 50mm f1.8 lens tho, becuase the standard lens it comes with isn't all that great for video.

The camera is not a waste of money, trust me. No camera is, its how you use it.
