@Puertopotty I agree with you 100%. In the fight to be right we can lose big. It's very hard for many to take a step back and see with more impartiality. But it's a skill well worth developing.
People often would rather sink with their ship than make the necessary changes required to keep it afloat. It might require making sacrifices, extending themselves beyond their social comfort zones or heeding the advice of those around them rather than holding stubbornly onto their own ideas.
Sometimes being right is so important to people that they ignore any contradictory evidence. For a business, this is the beginning of the end.
