Borerlands PC Mordecai Gameplay [HD]

Just some random gameplay from my first playthrough as Mordecai (sniper guy) really like this game so far, some minor annoyances like a menusystem not really optimized for PC etc. There also seems to be a strange bug with the dynamic shadows in this game, some people get great performance with it, while somebody else with a much better system might get around 40 fps with it turned on. Hopefully this will be patched or solved in a new driver. (this can happen to both nvidia and ATI.)

I am one of the unlucky so I play without dynamic shadows when I record with fraps. All other settings are on the highest and I have forced 4x AA through the control panel. I also turned off mouse smoothing by editing the ini files and turned on vsync the same way.

I will be uploading more gameplay from borderlands showing different places, weapons and maybe some coop too. Stay tuned.

probably won't post another borderlands vid until they patch it... To my defense the sensitivity in this game is weird, turning off mouse-smoothing by modding the files helped some but it still feels like you're aiming on a grid, if you really try to move it one pixel it's not possible it will skip alot of them, pretty poor port IMO

I like the rectangular scope on that SMG you have (like the one on the Bone Shredder). There are sniper rifles with that type of scope (higher zoom but still rectangulated) but they're kinda rare. I find it's best to use a mix of scoped and open-sighted weapons. One or two scoped weps and open sights on everything else. Scopes don't belong on shotguns, Mashers, or Double Anarchies.
