  • I love the Ventures the best instrumental group ever.... However I'm still puzzled I've never seen them play on Video or live the Keyboard.. anybody knows anything about it......?

  • @wksufreshair I had it too. Played the grooves off it.

  • What about The Swingin' Creeper?

  • I had this on reel to reel which ran at a speed of 7 and a half inches. I swear at that speed it was CD quality back in the day

  • The Ventures were one of the fist groups if not the very first group to use fuzz tone. Their even made their own fuzz tone pedal that was very popular. David Allen and the Arrows used it and made it famous in biker movies. Allen also played a Mosrite guitar. On another subject, in my opinion, Mel Taylor was one of the greatest drummers that ever lived.

  • This is so BAD ASS!

  • I'm surprised Quentin Tarantino hasn't used this in a movie, yet.

  • @Corporations8MyBaby

sure sounds like him, but I had no idea! LOVE this!

  • Just amazing. Killer.

Ventures were all over the radio when I was growing up, but I missed this one.

Thanks for sharing. These old LPs are probably near impossible to find..

  • @AmericanPunkGarage - If I were ever to adopt a religion, it would be Link Wray-ity. This Ventures track captures that same swagger and menace. One of my favorites of all time.
