@saynotodarwin: Very nice video, although the song was a little more contemporary. However, please allow me to indicate that in the "artistic" picture of Dean and Marilyn, he appears to be riding a Harley Davidson and wearing Levi jeans. He wore Lee jeans and rode Triumphs.

From what I've heard, they did run into each other around town, but Marilyn was interested in older men, so they can be accurately described as aquaintances - I'm sure neither of them thought they would become icons - somehow, their images seem to go together - they both came to symbolize, along with Elvis, the changing values of the 50s, and their tragic, early deaths only cemented their status. RIP to all three of them. Glad you both enjoyed the vid!
